Turning experience into possibility

This page summarizes my work over the years, allowing you to quickly understand who I am and my future plans.

In 2018, with the help of professors from National Taiwan University and a lecturer from d.life Lab, we started Taiwan's first "Designing Your Life" (DYL) university course, which allowed students to explore their passions and design their careers.

Besides National Taiwan University, I've been fortunate to design courses and workshops for various organizations over the past 6 years. You can find some of my past workshops and courses here.

During the pandemic lockdown, I designed a virtual co-living space. This platform allowed people to share their lives through daily guided exercises and weekend workshops, exchanging experiences of personal growth and reflection. This project became the precursor to OffCourse.

The initial design aimed to encourage self-exploration during isolation, using the extra time available. The online platform provided companionship and motivation through peer support. Reflecting on the pivotal moments in my life, the most important factors were often the people who helped me understand myself better and offered unwavering support. Through years of self-exploration, I realized that finding such a community isn't easy and can sometimes be a privilege.

I've observed that the framework of workshop experiences can establish a mindset for communication and action, as well as build a sense of belonging, support, and a safe space for introspection and exchange. Combined with modern tools, we have the potential to create a community platform for individuals seeking growth and transformation, like a personal incubator.

This is the current direction of OffCourse: an online self-growth community. Focusing on career planning and life design, our goal is to help people explore their direction, establish a learning and knowledge-sharing community, and allow people to connect and collaborate as they discover their goals and build their own lives.
